Barbara Why, originally from South Dakota, made Caroline County her home six years ago. A devoted wife, she has been married for 40 years, building a life full of love and cherished memories. Barbara is a proud mother to four children and a grandmother to four grandchildren, all of whom bring immense joy to her life.

Family is at the heart of everything Barbara does, and she treasures the time spent with her loved ones. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, often creating handmade items that reflect her creativity and attention to detail. Whether she’s with her family or engaged in her hobbies, Barbara’s warm and caring nature shines through in all she does.

My Why:

I was drawn to Warriors Heart because of my deep personal connection to those who serve. My husband spent years in the military and law enforcement, and my son is a firefighter. I’ve witnessed firsthand the sacrifices they make, and I feel a strong calling to give back to those who put everything on the line for others. Working at Warriors Heart allows me to support the heroes who need healing and help them regain their strength. It’s a privilege to be a part of this mission.
