Ben was born in Salem, Ohio and then raised in Stafford, Virginia by his great grandparents. His teens and adulthood were spent in Clay, West Virginia with his dad. He then joined the Army where he served as an infantryman for four years. After his time in the service he went straight to college at Glenville State University for History Education. After completing his degree, Ben then attended Pierpont Technical Community College for Criminal Justice. During this time he played rugby and also met his beautiful wife Darienne who also works at Warriors Heart in the client relations department. Together they set roots in Caroline County and have a beautiful daughter and four fur babies! 

My Why: 

As a warrior that’s been dealing with his own struggles and working on getting better every day, I believe in the process and that it just takes time. I want to help my brothers and sisters with the struggle they’re having and help pave a new path to a better self. I want to show them that life can be better if you put in the work. While working at Warriors Heart I can do just that by helping them create some amazing projects together.
