Blair Tredway
Lakeside Clinical Assistant
When I got the call to work at Warriors Heart, I knew I was saying “yes” to a career, and a calling, not just a job. Our service men and women have done so much for this country, and at times they need people to step up and serve them, and that’s what I am here for. Every day being a part of their journey is also a part of mine. Having battled my own addiction and PTSD, I am fully aware that these things can happen when people least expect it, don’t want it, don’t deserve it, and who need to be understood, and just need help. Addiction is not something that happens to bad people, it’s something bad that HAPPENS to people, and it’s our job to help them understand why and get through the troubles they are struggling with. I believe everyone out here wants to be the best version of themselves, as do we all, but like starting out in life, sometimes we just need some help. None of us were born walking, it took time. I love coming to work and I’m proud to be here and be a part of this amazing community of Warriors.
