My Why: 

My name is Cecilia Faison Ngwa and from Cameroon originally. I was raised both in Cameroon and the united states. I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner almost 2 years now.  I started my nursing career as a registered nurse in a busy hospital and part time at the correction center. While being a floor nurse, I developed strong foundation in acute care and patient management with patients suffering from mental health. My passion for mental health lead me to pursue an advance practice in nursing at Walden university. I am a proud navy wife with 2 beautiful teenagers. I enjoy cooking, travelling around the world experiencing different cultures while spending time with family. I work as a contractor at the Virginia facility and enjoy being part of warriors’ heart healing mission.
