Danielle Bouy

Danielle is a native of South Louisiana who relocated to Virginia in 2000. While Virginia is home now, she will always be Cajun and her deep family ties and heritage permeate her core. She graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and went on to practice nursing in many different roles. Her favorite being the community based roles of Dialysis and Private Home care. Those experiences led her to open a business caring for Intellectually disabled elderly adults . After running that business for ten years she decided to step back and onto a new adventure. She has been married to her husband Robert for 31 years. They are blessed to have 3 daughters, 2 Sons in love and 4 beautiful grand babies. In her free time, she enjoys mentoring homeschool parents, raising chickens, traditional scratch cooking, studying herbal remedies and learning about homesteading.
MY WHY:
I am honored and humbled to be able to serve these warriors who have sacrificed so much for us. I feel it is truly a blessing and I am right where God wants me to be. Just having recently lost a loved one to addiction, I understand and see the results of what can happen. There is a better way. And at Warriors Heart we can show them that way. I am so thankful to be able to assist with the health and healing of this truly special population.
