Hagen was born in San Antonio and raised in Midland TX.
Hagen graduated high school in 2016
Hagen was raised by his mother and his stepfather, who raised him well and taught him what it meant to be a man.
Hagen moved to California after dropping out of college to live with his father but all did not end well and Hagen had to move back to Texas and go to his first rehab at 18 years old. shortly after completing his treatment he got caught up with the law and had to do some time in TDCJ. After serving his time he moved back in with his mother and started his long walk through recovery. There have been a lot of potholes in his journey but when Hagen moved to Bandera in October of 2022 his life started to change for the better, especially after getting his first job in the recovery industry at Starlite Recovery Center. Hagen found his purpose.
MY WHY
I have personally struggled with drug addiction for a very long time and it happened at a really young age. After going to a few rehabs I learned a few things, and one of those things is to stay sober I have to be in service to others. Cant relapse if you’re actively helping others to stay sober. My father was a severe alcoholic during my childhood and Ive had many friends lose their lives to addiction and depression. Last year, August 16 of 2023, I lost mygirlfriend to addiction. She passed away in her sleep due to an overdose and that was the last straw for me. I intend to help people be sober and stay sober so that they may never have to feel that feeling or be the reason someone has to feel that feeling.
