Jessica was born and raised in New Hampshire but has lived in Virginia for over 30 years. She is married to her husband Robert and has 2 sons, Jacob 23 and Robert 18. Jessica graduated from nursing school in 2005 and later obtained her BSN from WGU. She has had many great opportunities through her nursing career and has worked at some of the best University Hospitals throughout Washington DC and VA before settling in the field of Hospice and Palliative Care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

My Why 

Growing up both of my parents struggled with severe drug addiction. They were able to overcome their battles with help and support. They both went on to live healthy, happy, sober lives and they continue to help support others in need. I was reminded of this after visiting Warriors Heart. I had the privilege of talking to some of the alumni that had been through the program, I wanted to be part of such an inspiring mission that helps support people when they need it most and help welcome these Warriors “home.”
