Why? Because I need to give back what has so freely been given to me and mine
Why? Because I need to give back what has so freely been given to me and mine
Both of my sons were in the military when 9-11 happened. The fear I felt was unbelievable. However: I had raised my sons to be proud of their country and to trust in God. I could do no less.
But the beauty I got to see first hand was strangers embracing my sons and the other soldiers when they met them in their uniforms on the street, or in a restaurant, or at the airport. I knew that I had to give this beauty and love back to other soldiers and all people who selflessly give to others without thought of the cost.
One of my sons is still in the Air Force, and my warrior on the front lines has since gotten out of the Army. He still supports the core belief of God and Country and I’m so blessed to be in the position to give back.
Why do I work with Warriors Heart? Because I need to give back what has so freely been given to me and mine.
