Lisa moved to Bandera, Texas from Wisconsin in 1995. One of Lisa’s passions has been involved with fund raising for over 25 years. In 2013 she co-founded the Longhorn Charity Events. They began with the Longhorn Golf Tournament benefiting Meals on Wheels, and hopes to expand assisting additional charitable companies in the area.

In 2010 she started working at the Purple Sage Ranch Resort and Conference Center, which is now the home of Warriors Heart! Lisa maintains a very high standard of cleanliness and environment of care as her main priority, but also assists in customer service when needed.

Lisa truly enjoys working with the team here at Warriors Heart. Some she has known for years and others she has gotten to known, but she can honestly say we are all family.

Lisa has 3 amazing daughters. She was blessed with her first grandson in 2011. To her there is no greater joy than family! She has grown to love country music AND even learned how to 2 step … yee-haw!

My Why:

At first my why was just to help other Warriors get help, get better, and stronger.
Then my youngest daughter comes to me and “says mom I have enlisted”. Well now this is personal!

I have my own Warrior to watch out for and make sure she stays strong.

So now my outlook is personal. As a mom I want to make sure that our men and women are getting the healing that they need to be strong once again!
