The best way I can express my enjoyment of helping active military members who are here at Warriors Heart is much the same way I enjoy creating art. With art, I enjoy the fun of mixing colors on the palette, applying paint to a canvas wasting away time in the studio with my favorite music playing.

I’ve always used painting and drawing as a way of getting repressed thoughts and memories into the open. Clients who have seen my art have commented how much they enjoy looking at it. This is why I create art, so that I can have some sort of effect on the viewer. They’re hoping for a reaction, whether that be positive or negative.

To quote Vincent van Gogh, I want to touch people with my art I want them to say “he feels deeply he feels tenderly”.
