Rosalyn Wallace
RN
My name is Rosalyn, and I’ve been a nurse since 2008. Nursing became my second career after working at Capital One, where I seized the opportunity to pursue my true passion for helping others through their tuition reimbursement program after a round of layoffs.
I am a single mom of two boys, currently navigating the exciting stages of middle school and high school. I understand the challenges
of balancing a demanding career with family life. My journey has been deeply influenced by my exposure to military life—having been born in Landstuhl, Germany, and growing up in Virginia after my dad came back to the states and then later retired from the Army. My own experience
includes an attempt to join the Army while leaving my first husband, who also served. (I was not in good enough physical shape to withstand basic training).
MY WHY:
After spending the last two years recovering from my second divorce, I found a new purpose at Warriors Heart. Here, I’m dedicated to helping others while continuing my own journey of self-improvement, particularly in overcoming my codependent tendencies. Though I’m not addicted to drugs or alcohol, I’ve realized that my addiction lies in people, and I’m committed to working on myself for years to come, with the hope of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.
