Tammy was born in St. Louis, Mo in 1977 and moved to Texas in 1993 and has made it her permanent home. Tammy has one younger brother who lives in Alton, Mo and 6 step siblings. She is a mother of 4 beautiful children and a grandmother to 8 amazing grandchildren.
Tammy plans on enrolling into college and hopes to someday obtain a degree in chemical dependency counseling.
I had not heard of Warriors Heart until I was on the hunt for a job. I applied not knowing what I was getting myself into and now I see I was called here, THIS is where I am meant to be.
MY WHY
I myself am in recovery and can relate to the men and women who come through our gates seeking guidance and help. Within my family and friends I have become one that people are comfortable talking to, no matter the topic and I will do it without judgment. Working here has only made that aspect of me stronger and I enjoy sharing my experience and showing others that there is hope and Warriors Heart makes that possible.
