My Why:
With my background in Fire/ EMS I have witnessed peers go through tremendous hardship after what they see and do on the job. When you are working in Fire & EMS, you are frequently seeing someone have the worst day of their lives. It’s not everyday, but if you work in this field long enough, this will happen to you. I have seen how this takes a toll on many first responders over time to the point they do not know what to do to cope. I wanted to join Warrior’s Heart to do what I can to help first responders or anyone that comes here and seek help.
