Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program

Warriors Heart offers an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) to support warriors as they progress on the path to long-term sobriety. Our program provides care for those completing inpatient treatment or those who are in need of outpatient level care. This provides appropriate care through therapeutic treatment for drug and alcohol addictions along with continued treatment for PTSD and mood disorders.

What Is The Intensive Outpatient Program?

Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers a unique blend of addiction treatment modalities, with evidence-based practices, experiential workshops, physical fitness, 12-step support, spiritual development, family support, and life skills.

The Warriors Heart Intensive Outpatient Program is an 8-week minimum course. The substance abuse and mental health program is designed to help clients overcome personal issues and barriers to sobriety while allowing them to remain in their own home, sober living or other supportive housing.

Our outpatient program is led by an experienced team of licensed addiction and behavioral health professionals who integrate evidence-based approaches that treat the whole person and not just symptoms. We do not segregate chemical dependency treatment and dual diagnosis clients; we treat the whole person together.

What Makes The Warriors Heart Intensive Outpatient Program Unique?

The Warriors Heart Intensive Outpatient groups, and individual sessions provide education, counseling, and the support needed in early recovery for proper care. Outpatient services provide individuals with greater independence to continue everyday activities, such as school, work, and parenting while offering supportive services to succeed in these areas.

Overview of Intensive Outpatient Program

  • 2 hours of morning programming, 5 days a week
  • Family session each Saturday
  • Weekly individual or family sessions
  • Therapeutic process groups, psycho-educational sessions, experiential treatment modalities, spiritual development, and life skills
  • Vocational and educational support
  • Random drug testing
  • Case management services (Updates, letters to employers, probation, command, etc.)
