Thank you to the Warriors Heart team and my fellow Warriors. The healing I received from attending the 42 day program was immeasurable. It truly is "Warriors Healing Warriors". I have attached a poem that was inspired by a term I created while describing my thought processing difficulties in a process group, Terminal Trauma Time Traveler. As a man with a long career of substance abuse and a rolodex full of combat trauma, I consider my time spent at Warriors Heart a significant milestone on my journey through life. I called in a time of severe desperation, you answered the call and provided me with the psychological rebirth that I was in dire need of. Similar to me joining the Army and finding a team that collectively provided me purpose for 24 years of success, the team of Warrior clients and Warriors Heart staff renewed a solid sense of purpose to propel me forward productively. Thank you to every Warrior there during my stay. God bless you all, as I have been blessed by the entire experience. Regards, Andy

my father came back changed, and for the best.a few years back my dad who has combat ptsd went here for about two months. Before he came, he was very angry, quick to yell, constantly frustrated, abused drugs, and depressed. When he came back, he of course still had his episodes as PTSD will never go away, but it was a lot more manageable. He tolerated a lot more than he used too (fireworks, bubblegum popping, burkas and niqabs). I remember he loved the meditation, therapy dogs, the location, and the other clients. I’d recommend this place if you have a family member/partner with military PTSD. It truly saved my dads life and improved the household dymanic

Such a great place, that has been nothing but good to me. From Tom Spooner down, each and every staff member have been so kind and always had welcome arms. They have helped change my life tremendously, which is still a work in progress. I highly recommend this place if you are struggling in addiction or trauma. God bless Warriors Heart.

17 years active duty and would not be alive without Warriors Heart. Inpatient Oct 22-Dec 22 and sober living after until March 23. Fantastic facility, great staff and huge support from fellow warriors there.

Some of the people here really care. It took some back and forth but when I couldn't get the VA to help WH offered to step in. But by that time I'd already had to decide to commit to other life obligations besides my sobriety.

“Welcome Home”.These two words are what you will hear Consistently. I would say it’s from the time you walk through the beautiful front Gates, but I’m pretty sure when you’re speaking to your advocate on the phone and setting up your life changing stay with us you will hear that as well. Welcome home is not just something you say, it’s something we do. Just like being brothers and sisters, United in the military, law enforcement and first responders. When you decide to put your faith into healing yourself. You become a family member of warriors heart. That is something that does not go away. Even after you finish the program to thrive and be the best person God has made you to be.“Family is what we are”.No matter what you are dealing with, You will get the best care, treatment, and tools for success knowing that you are still are the hero and leader that you once were.” Only better”!You’ll have an advocate that will be with you side-by-side during the whole process of enrollment. But, beyond that you will have medical staff, counselors, and you will be surrounded by brothers and sisters, through all walks of life, some maybe going through the same things you are. Warriors Heart offers many different programs to fit your specific needs. We have intensive outpatient treatment programs, detoxification, residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs, peer support,TMS, RTC, IOP, sober living and K9. There is a metal shop and a wood shop with all the state of the art tools to do your best work! The art room is very Impressive. The art teacher is one of the most creative people I’ve ever met. I know some of us think we’re not creative enough to do art. But she can show you so many different forms that you will leave, excited to go back and start a new project. From Canvas, two 3D Mask, to clay. When you see the art room for the first time and see the talent, it literally looks like an art museum. Art is a way of expressing your emotions, it’s seeing Things through your eyes, it’s your story and believe me, your story is empowering and it will live on giving light and truth to the past Commitments you have made.We have a full staff In the kitchen, and a chef for every meal. And snacks and ice cream if that’s your thing lol available all the time! From jujutsu, to walking the trails on this 543 acre gorgeous property, getting a massage, working out in the huge gym on Lakeside, or just sitting and taking in all the beautiful life, right in front of you. The most incredible journey and great benefit I've been able to experience in my lifetime. After a long, hard, defeating career of drug and alcohol abuse I found myself at the end of my rope. Broken and addicted, I was contemplating suicide and destroying my entire family. Warriors Heart staff, ownership, therapists, counselors, Jiu-jitsu, K'9 program, and everyone involved had a part in saving my life. I became acquainted with every single Warriors Heart employee on a first named basis. I felt comfortable and right at home throughout the duration of my stay. So comfortable in fact, that i decided to stay for 7 months while I put the pieces of my life back together. Through Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, the K-9 program, on site yoga sessions, massage therapy, and the metal fabrication shop; I gained my confidence back as a constructive member of society again. I've succeeded in martial arts Jiu-jitsu tournaments and won. My family members enjoy my company and I've formed relationships and a bond with my children that is unbreakable and priceless. I now have 2 years of continuous sobriety, and I'm currently free from the restraints of drugs and alcohol. Before going to Warriors Heart I was sincerely contemplating suicide. I was financially broke and spiritually bankrupt. Destroying everything and everyone around me. Warriors Heart saved my life, my career, and my sanity. I have formed lasting relationships, with the like minded military and first responder community who I can trust and turn to when life gets difficult. Today I have lifelong friends in the Warrior community. I belong to a community outreach that puts forth an effort to make sure that Warriors Heart alumni are thriving and maintain a healthy lifestyle after completion of the program. This is only possible because of the Warriors Heart program integrity and lifestyle. I cannot say enough great things about Warriors Heart in its entirety. There is literally no other place like it on Earth. I'm so appreciative and grateful to have had a second chance at life. Thank you Warriors Heart.

I’ve only worked for Warriors Heart now for almost two months but I would like to share my experience so far. I have been working other jobs for over 20 years and I have never felt so wanted and appreciated like I do at Warriors Heart they treat you like you are part of their team. The employees are so respectful to each other and also to the people they serve. I am so proud to say “I am employed with Warriors Heart”♥️ They really care for the staff and the people they serve.

I’m the part time shuttle driver at Warriors Heart. I take clients to the electives they have chosen wood shop, art, etc. I have the opportunity to hear clients comment on their stay here. I’ve heard positive comments about CR personnel and counselors. The campus is beautiful and well maintained. I feel this is the best place for a warrior to heal.

I went to Warriors Heart for the 45 day program and stayed for about 9 months in Sober Living. People will tell you how beautiful the facility is which is very true but it’s how it’s run, the classes, the staff, the K9 program and being around fellow like minded first responders and veterans which separates this Rehab from others. The place is beautiful and you can go on hikes for miles and miles and clear your head and get perspective.I will and have recommended Warriors Heart to several people and I would send any loved one there without question! I’m not saying you will magically become sober if you go there, but if you are really ready and want to put in the work Warriors Heart owners and staff will go above and beyond to make sure you get all the tools and knowledge you need! And when you are ready to go home and back into the real world they give you an extremely detailed aftercare program and customize it to your hometown with a list of doctors, therapists and AA or NA meetings.Good luck and god bless

Warriors Heart is an incredible place. Between the staff at WH, the location & the clients, you can’t find another place that offers the same experience, education & therapeutic value. To have a facility run by first responders and first responders as clients is unique in its self. It is a relaxed and inviting environment with no outside distractions other then the ones you bring with you. I can’t say enough about how much WH has helped me. As a firefighter & paramedic I was worried that I would not fit into the Warrior Class of clients that they are used to. When I arrived I was treated as a brother in service just as everyone was. This is truly a safe healing place for military, fire, police & EMS. I was assigned to sober living with a navy seal, a member of delta force and a police officer. We have a paramedic in the next group and several more police officers. It doesn’t matter what uniform you wore, it only matters that you are in need and Warriors Heart will help you to heal.

This is in response to M.K.'s comment...Hello, I don't work for Warriors Heart and nope, not getting paid to comment here either. I usually don't respond or make reviews about anything but I can hear nothing but hate and discontent in your review and I'm thinking to myself, "did we go to the same place?" Even though I'm what was dubbed a "dash-2" (it's an inside thaang) I can say with with my head up and with certainty, Miss Linda, Gary Sinise and the professional team at Warriors Heart saved my life. I was about to be one of the "22" and had already told my family it wasn't their fault and loved them and made my peace with it until I received a phone call out of the blue. "Just checking on you", yeah right, more like divine intervention with SgtMaj J. Christ dialing the numbers. Ok I'm rambling now. Back to W.H. I can't let you talk bad about the people I love without a rebuttal at least, because these folks are some black magic, Jedi mind trick, mind reading, high speed-low drag, tier 1 miracle working counselors and my friend they truly do care. You just have to be ready to open up and tell all of those deep dark secrets that you've hid from mom and dad your whole life. Yep I'm talking about that secret too😉... ALL OF THEM! Leave the pride outside and humble yourself because the end result can be a brand new life full of love and happiness with a dash of joy. I wish you and anyone reading this all the best and remember kids, "Don't Dabble!" And to Tom Spooner, Josh , Lisa, Alisa, Connie and my personal counselor, you know who you are.....much love and Semper Fi... ✌️😎🤙

This property was formerly a corporate retreat and wedding venue, so its accommodations are more resort-like than clinical.

We strongly believe that healing is best done at home, and by avoiding the sterile-looking feel of a hospital, we have created a treatment center that helps highlight those qualities.

Clients stay in private or semi-private (gender-specific) guest suites with bathrooms.

For leisure, the facility features a game room, comfortable living and meeting areas, with high ceilings and fireplaces.
